What I liked: Built like a tank. Wasn't enough for use around the SF Bay Area. Red LED display gets washed out in sunlight. Purchased at a junk sale. When powered up the frequency display remained at 5. Removed the top cover, manipulated all the inline white connectors, no change. Moved the ribbon cable connector immediately behind the display, success!

The display now changed with the frequency knob. Performance, will trigger local repeaters but early days yet, will report back. Just looked up the reviews and there was not one for this radio.

So, why did I buy it, apart from its appealing look of hopelessness? Because I wanted one when they first came out waaay back in the late 70s or early 80s but couldn't afford it. The rig is built like a brick dunny. It won't call it quits. Ok, so the memories don't work, but I'm sure that is only a matter of changing the battery. Hey, some guys collect stamps or French clocks, so no sweat here! For a rig coming up 40 or 50 years old, still working and looking like it does, I give it 5 stars!

I was given this radio for free since it had some issues. Several capacitors in the power supply section and some coupling capacitors had failed quite spectacularly. My edition seems to have had a hard life, with signs of multiple circuit board fractures and replaced components. Power output was unstable due to a poorly soldered coax connector on the TX board.

The hand microphone also had issues. There's no memory backup battery inside, and I measured the CPU current draw to be about 7mA meaning any battery that could fit inside the radio would only provide a few hours memory. By default it will lose memory even when turned off, but still connected to the This can be solved by connecting the Keep in mind it will pull several mA from the battery as long as it's connected like that.

A very neat feature of this model is it provides a straight 8V power output on pin 2 of the mic-connector according to the schematic. The low-power mode is easily adjusted up to 5W from the normal 1, and I'll have the full 25W for more remote operations. They were great radios in their day. If you installed Icom's BU-1 option they retained their memories when powered off.

What made these radios great was the receiver, which was very hot. These rigs were not intermod prone like later models which went well outside the band. Transmit audio reports were always good and the radio was built like a little tank. It was not a failure-prone model. I eventually went to dual band and later multi-band rigs so I sold my ICA, but for the years I had it I must say it always served me well. These are available for next to nothing on the used market.

If you understand their limitations and can live within them the ICA can be a great, inexpensive way to get on 2m FM even today.ICH transceiver pdf manual download. Not here. Galaxy CB Radio Sale! Diamond duplexer.QRZ Forums. I have an old Icom ICH 2 meter rig. Actually I have two of them. One is junk and does not function. The other works just fine.

These rigs have no PL tones in them Soooo I down loaded a tone generator off the web. Pretty neat little program. I thought if I set up tones for the local repeaters around here and let the sub audible tone run in the back ground I could run this old rig as a base here in the shack Well that was a fail. The mic will not pass to tones. Sooo I opened up the mic on the rig that does not function and tapped into the audio circuit on the mic and bada bing I am getting the tones through the audio circuit but still can not access repeaters.

I have gone through volume settings from low to high. Still no repeater access. I have tried a sweep tone from X tone to Y tone in very short segments of the target tone.

Maybe I miss'n a step or two here as far as my theory on how I thought this would work, evidential so I guess. Any thoughts on this? It's not a bad little rig and it ain't dead yet. I asked a pretty simple question.Deployment URI You must provide the URI of the Cloud Storage location where your SavedModel is stored. Cloud ML Engine pulls the model from this location and deploys it. This parameter is called --origin in the gcloud ml-engine versions create command. Runtime version Cloud ML Engine uses the latest stable runtime version to deploy your model version unless you specify a different supported one. The runtime version primarily determines the version of TensorFlow that the prediction service uses to run your model.

When you run a batch prediction job you have the option of overriding the assigned runtime version. Online prediction always uses the runtime version set when the model version is deployed. Manual scaling You can specify the number of training nodes to keep running for your model version.

Warning: When you manually set the number of nodes to keep ready for your version, those nodes are considered to be constantly in use, even when not serving predictions. This means that you are charged the hourly rate for each node from the moment you create the version until you delete it.

You can't change this value without deploying your model to a different version. Staging bucket If you are using the gcloud command-line tool to deploy your model, you can use a SavedModel on your local computer. Graph changes for prediction You may have included TensorFlow Ops in your computation graph that were useful primarily in the context of training. Getting predictions You can send new data to your deployed model versions to get predictions. Online prediction versus batch prediction Cloud ML Engine provides two ways to get predictions from trained models: online prediction (sometimes called HTTP prediction), and batch prediction.

The differences are shown in the following table: Online prediction Batch prediction Optimized to minimize the latency of serving predictions. Optimized to handle a high volume of instances in a job and to run more complex models. Can process one or more instances per request.

Predictions returned in the response message. Predictions written to output files in a Cloud Storage location that you specify. Input data passed directly as a JSON string. Input data passed indirectly as one or more URIs of files in Cloud Storage locations.

Returns as soon as possible. Anyone with Viewer access to the project can request. Must be a project Editor to run. Runs on the runtime version and in the region selected when you deploy the model. Can run in any available region, using any available runtime version.

Though you should run with the defaults for deployed model versions. Runs models deployed to Cloud ML Engine. Runs models deployed to Cloud ML Engine or models stored in accessible Google Cloud Storage locations. The needs of your application dictate the type of prediction you should use.So, do yourself a big favor and consider getting on board with a cost saving sports subscription and never miss a play. I'm laying the points with the NY Knicks on Saturday.

Chicago snapped their 10-game losing streak with a 119-111 OT win last night in Charlotte. Give the Bulls credit for finding their offense, but it was just their 4th win in 24 games this season and we don't suspect a winning streak is about to begin.

They're 0-4 ATS both off a SU win and when playing without rest between games. The Knicks whipped Memphis last time out and did so without Tim Hardaway, who's out with a leg injury. His loss is baked into this number as far as we're concerned. We have a Knicks' team that's covered seven of their last nine against teams with a losing record, while covering five in a row in this series.

I'm laying the points with the Knicks on Saturday. All my picks are based on interpretation of statistics, context and personal judgement. Each selection is primarily based on available value for long-term profits and not short priced easy favourites.

Ultimately, I use my own analysis in combination with intelligent based software. Wazzu's defense has steadily gotten worse as the season goes along. They allowed 91 to Idaho on the road and 81 to UC Davis as well. Robert Franks and Malachi Flynn are averaging over 36 points per game combined. UTEP is feeling good after a 88-76 home win over New Mexico last time out. They will be once again without Matt Wilms in the middle. That will make the Miners defense much worse considering he's their enforcer type.

Extra pressure now on Keith Frazier and Omega Harris. UTEP has gone over in 14 of their last 21 games when the total is 140 to 149.

This game features the 13-11 Sixers and the 18-8 Cavs.

Instruction Manual / Guides

This game will be easy pickings as the Sixers will rest their star Joel Embid and this line just is too low. Cavs lost outrite last night at the Pacers and will not be to happy going into this one. In the last nine years, this situation is sensational 23-3.

The 7-5 Baltimore Ravens are in Pittsburgh to take on the 10-2 Steelers and for a number of different reasons, I think this on favors the visitors. Baltimore has won three straight. Pittsburgh enters off a come-from-behind 23-20 win over Cincinnati on Monday night.

Note that this is a revenge game for the Ravens after they fell 26-9 to the Steelers in the first meeting back on October 1st. Denver, which has lost eight in a row after a 3-1 start enters into this game in a shambles.

HC Vance Joseph's first year as head coach hasn't gone as planned, and the entire team looks to be on the verge of mutiny. Meanwhile, the Jets behind veteran quarterback Josh McCown are doing well in what was supposed to be a rebuilding season. The experienced QB has 18 touchdown passes and only eight interceptions while playing every snap this season.

Of the Jets' seven losses the jets have suffered during this campaign, only one has been by double digits, and they've had a fourth-quarter lead in three others and are a very under rated squad.

I'm betting the NFL offensive player of the week (McCown) and a cohesive blue collar group will once again be the catalyst behind a Jets victory here today. DENVER is 0-8 ATS in all games where the total is between 35.

The Washington Redskins will visit the L. Chargers at StubHub Center Sunday afternoon, and I think we'll see a high-scoring affair. The Redskins took a 38-14 loss at Dallas last Thursday and need a win here to keep their almost non-existent playoff hopes alive. Over is 14-3 in Redskins last 17 games following a straight up loss and 6-1 in their last seven games in December.
