Pagan pride festival 2020
Given the current state of affairs in both Ohio and in the rest of the nation, Cleveland Pagan Pride cannot, in good conscience, hold our event and put into jeopardy, the health and welfare of all who attend our event. SinceCleveland Pagan Pride has worked tirelessly to build one of the largest Pagan gatherings in the country. We are so proud of where the event started and how very far it has come in these past 11 years.
For us, on the planning committee, it is such a joy to be of service to our Pagan community. Every year, it fills our hearts and souls with joy to see so many people come together and celebrate Pagan traditions and togetherness.
Our community, in the eyes of all who have put so much into creating this event, is more family than anything else, and sometimes, we have got to love our family in difficult ways. As a phoenix rises from the ashes, our event will rise again. Summer ofwe will be back, we will all be healthier, we will all be stronger, and we, as a community, will rise from the ashes.
We are greatly looking forward to it and hope that you are as well. During these difficult times, let us all remember to spread joy and kindness where we can, and please understand that these decisions were coding bootcamp europe made lightly.
Many tears were shed in the meeting where this decision was made, and we are sure that this sadness will be felt by many. On Sunday August 23rd, from PM, please join us here for a live streaming event in lieu of our usual 2 day festival!

This was a very hard decision to make and it was made with the safety of our community at heart. We could not in good conscious bring people together when there is still a very real risk. We connected with several medical professionals in our community and they all expect to see another surge of cases in the Fall.
That, coupled with the lack of enforceable guidelines for large events to help keep people safe, was what lead to our decision. The committee is talking about hosting a Spring event such as a picnic to bring the community together when it is safe to do so. Hi, everyone! She sings of our responsibility to nurture both the mundane and the Divine. She now travels the world, singing tales of love and battle, Pirates and Vikings, damsels and elves, trolls and that wicked Dragon that left her one digit shy.

Skip to content. Much Love to you all.It is true that some spaces are slowly reopening, and also that in some places there has been some reduction in the number of new cases, but given the size and nature of our annual festival, we are simply not willing to accept the risk of possibly infecting a majority of the Pagan population of CNY. We hope that conditions continue to ease and that we can begin to gather in small groups once more, but we fear that large gatherings are out of the question for this year.
For those vendors who have already submitted contracts for ; we will be in touch with you directly in the week to come. We know this news is disappointing, but Pagan Pride is more than just a single day, more than just a festival, more than an annual gathering.
We are a community, a couple thousand amazing, spiritual individuals who, together, will emerge from this thing stronger and wiser. Our festival has many interlinking goals and purposes. We try to keep our purpose balanced through the inspirations of the elements:. We are not going to be able to practice our spiritual paths openly if we do not give the public accurate information about what we practice. We have to have the courage to act on our convictions and do what we need to do.
What we do returns to us. We need to demonstrate this by offering compassion to our communities where it is needed. We need to weave networking webs in our cities, towns and rural areas of support for one another. Working to eliminate hunger through nutritious food distribution, education and advocacy in cooperation with the community.
